Thanks to everyone who helped us reach our goal to help give kids who’ve experienced abuse, neglect or childhood trauma the supPAWt of a Paw Pals therapy dog to help them to heal and learn. 

Thanks to an incredible community response, we’ve reached our stretch $370,000 target. 

While our matching partners have reached their limit, every dollar donated will continue to help children succeed at school with Paw Pals therapy dogs.

Paw Pals Coordinator, Sarah Castle, sees how working with therapy dogs has turned around the lives of children who were struggling to engage in learning. 

“I wish everyone could see what a difference working with our therapy dogs makes to these children’s lives and to their families. If you have a child who is distressed by the idea of school and education, it is enormous pressure on the whole family. Our dogs support children on a completely different level, there is no weight, heaviness or expectation – dogs can make a breakthrough with a child when we have exhausted all other means to connect."
